Week 12


Cian:
This week, time was mainly spent getting the game ready for its beta milestone. For the beta, I wanted to focus on primarily adding in the missing narrative elements to tie the game together i.e. cutscenes. I also took some time to expand the final level a little bit and add a few missing interactables. I also  fixed a bug that allowed players to clip through the levels geometry if they approached at an angle. This was due to me moving the player by modifying its transform directly (vector weirdness) instead of adding force via  a rigidbody.

I am interested to see how feedback will change from our alpha playtest once we get the opportunity to playtest our beta build. We are on track to address some concerns raised from our alpha playtest.
